Yes. The live demo needs no account and no credit card. It loads a sample workspace so you can click around. Nothing you do in the demo is saved.

Security is the default, not an add-on. Your data lives in an isolated database with row-level security enforced at the database layer, so one organization can never see another's data. Two-factor authentication (an authenticator app / TOTP) is required to access your workspace, from the first sign-in, and the database only releases your data to a session that has passed 2FA. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Yes, for every account and from the first sign-in. Two-factor authentication (an authenticator app / TOTP, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator) is required before your workspace opens. There is no skip and no grace period, so a stolen password alone can't get into your workspace.

No. Each workspace is fully isolated. We verify this with automated cross-tenant tests: an authenticated user who isn't a member of your organization sees zero of your rows. Only people you explicitly invite to your team can see your shared workspace.

No. Vitae Dux is cloud-only: your tasks, projects, and goals live in the cloud and load fresh each time you sign in. We deliberately don't cache your workspace content on the device, which removes a common breach surface.

We run on enterprise-grade infrastructure (Vercel + Supabase + Cloudflare) with a public status page you can check anytime. Errors are monitored in real time.

Tasks (with priority, owner, due date, workflow stage, effort), projects, long-term goals, blockers, time blocks, and team members, plus an activity log of everything that happens.

A calculated grade (A+ to F) that reflects how well work is being followed through: on-time completion, owned vs. unowned work, open blockers, and more. It updates automatically and builds a trend over time.

Yes. Invite teammates by email; they join your shared workspace with a role (admin, member, or viewer) and see the same tasks, projects, and goals. Roles control what each person can change.

Calendar export (.ics) is available today. Deeper integrations (Slack, Google Calendar, and an API + webhooks) are on the roadmap.

The web app is fully responsive and works on phones today. Native iOS/Android apps are planned.

The Free plan is $0 forever (2 seats, 3 projects, 50 tasks, 3 goals, and no credit card). Pro is $15/mo with 3 seats included (+$6/extra seat), and Exceptional is $30/mo with 5 seats included and unlimited projects, tasks, and goals (+$9/extra seat). Pro and Exceptional include a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial, but nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then for $0, online, in the same place you signed up. No phone call required. (The Free plan never asks for a card.)

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. That's standard subscription billing, and it's disclosed before you start. You can cancel online anytime from your billing settings, and the Free plan never bills anything because we never collect a card for it.

From the Team area, add a member with their email and choose "send invite." They get a one-time link to set up their account and join your workspace with the role you picked.

Right now each account belongs to one workspace. If someone you invite already has their own workspace, they'll be told they can't join a second one. Multi-team membership is a planned enhancement.

On the sign-in screen, use the "I don't have an authenticator app. Recover access" link, or email [email protected] and an administrator can reset your two-factor so you can re-enroll.

Two common causes: (1) you have the app open in multiple browser tabs: use one tab; and (2) your phone's clock is off: set Date & Time to "automatic." Also make sure you're reading the current "Vitae Dux" code (it rotates every 30 seconds) and delete any old duplicate entries.

Yes. You own your data. Workspace owners and admins can export the whole workspace (tasks, projects, goals, and more) to a file from the app at any time, with no lock-in.

Two different things, with two different rules. Resetting or deleting the whole workspace is owner only, and a snapshot is saved first so a reset is reversible. Deleting your own account is available to every role, including members: you never need to ask an owner or an admin to remove you. Both live in My Account under Danger Zone, and deleting your own account is also reachable from About > Data.

Deleting your account is immediate: we hard-delete your workspace and account server-side and revoke your sessions right away. (Step-by-step instructions live on the account deletion page.) What you receive depends on your role. If you are the workspace owner, the app generates a full export of the workspace before the delete runs, emails it to you, and blocks the deletion if that backup can't be saved. If you are a member, admin, or viewer, no export is produced: the work you contributed belongs to the workspace and stays with your team, and only your sign-in and personal data are erased. Owners and admins can export the workspace from the app at any time before deleting; members and viewers can ask their owner or an admin for a copy. For fraud-prevention, legal, and audit purposes we keep a minimal deletion record (your account email, name, workspace name, role, and the deletion date), and payment invoices are retained by our payment processor as required by law. (Separately, encrypted operational backups may persist up to 30 days before they rotate out.)

We collect only what's needed to run the product, and we extend export and deletion rights to every user in every state, not just where the law requires it.
